On a remote islet in the Norwegian Sea, DE JENZ has established AKWANAUTØYNA - an art experiment in Norway's most western settlement. Here we explore critical interfaces with the costal environment, and initiate responsive collaborations with local communities and international networks that reflect the potential of diving into a non-binary world - not making a distinction between culture and nature - to create a more symbiotic, rather than exploitative way of understanding the world around us. This de-positioning of our perspectives might shift our certainties and allow us to appreciate alternative forms of awareness, attention and togetherness. Renouncing modernity's monocular gaze, our work is embodied, situated and contextualised. DE JENZ is partner in Fjordkystparken, and fieldstations agents - sensing and gathering data about humanity's impact on Earth.

TRAVELERS and MEDIATORS is an extension of AKWANAUTØYNA in the Azores, another archipelago, where we developed a prototype in Ponta Delgada.
