All 65 pupils at the Solund school were invited to contribute by painting a slate stone each for the cladding of the base of the sculpture.

Students also contributed by journalism: Eiril Bukkøy (13) and Vilde Fatland Njøtten (15) came by boat to Nautøyna to interview DE
JENZ in their studio (published on the munici-pality website); while Ida Elisabeth Lending (15) and Kaila Mikaela Nordvik Alvheim (13) interviewed the artist duo on national TV (NRK, Vestlandsrevyen) in the Hardbakke harbour while constructing Suling.
