The vineyard has been abandoned for decades after the passing of Aurora, an 80 year old widow, who ran the farm alone since her husband died early.

The roofs have caved in on the former house and outhouse, and the ruins were overgrown with greenery, which we carefully remove to preserve the remaining stone walls. We keep the small ferns and while brambles and vines have to go. The wine TERRACES are bordered by stone walls that are also completely overgrown and slowly deteriorating.
